INTERNATIONAL FALLS PRESS, NOVEMBER 6, 1919 PAGE THREE ARMISTICE WEEK ARMISTICE DAY A Week Tuesday, Nov. 11th Notable Established 1904 by Mitchell Burton A Day Notable For Savings Thrift and Economy For Patriotism International Falls' Fastest Growing Store You all know how all cities throughout the United States and Canada went raving wild with joy and enthusiasm when the report was flashed on November 11th. 1918, that Germany has accepted the Armistice terms and the world-wide war was at end. It was a sight that no one who witnessed will ever forget as long as they live. •x And now that this glorious event is going to be celebrated all over the world, it is fitting and proper that this store should join in the celebration in a manner that has been in contemplation for many months. It isn't a question of making tremendous sales, merely for the sake of making bigger profits. A bigger more patriotic idea underlies the plans we have in preparation for PEACE ANNIVERSARY WEEK. We want to celebrate the coming of Peace by a contribution to the customers of this store in the way of savings—so we have reduced materially in price hundreds of items thoughout the store to show in a substantial way the Anniversary of Peace. And at the same time we have so decorated our store as to carry out our real expressions of patriotism and rejoicing at peace. It is therefore our privilege to invite our customers to come and partake of the savings from former costs that have been provided for this sale. In order to give everyone in this city and vicinity an opportunity to benefit by these prices Saturday, Nov. 8th, 8 o'clock a m. Sale Will Saturday, November 15th at 9 o'clock p. m.
