MANY WORK HORSES TO BE SHOWN RULES GOVERNING TAXES ON DELINQUENT LANDS The following opinion recentlyrendered by Attorney General Clifford L. Hilton relative to the price at which unpaid taxed tracts can be bcught at delinquent tax sale will tfe of interest to all real estate "taxpayers B- and tax buyers in Koochiching county. Attorney General Hilton says: "Pursuant to numerous requests for a construction of Chapter 337 Laws 1919, which amends Section 2128, G. S. 1913. I have to advise that said law prescribes the four rules hereinafter mentioned for ascertaining the minimum price for which parcels may be sold at the annual forfeited tax sale: "Rule 1. In cases where the cash value of a tract has not been determined by the county board and approved by the Minnesota tax commission, or if the parcel in quests has not been bid in for the state for the taxes of 1912 or prior years, or if such tract is not subject to delinquent taxes for ten years or more, and has not been subject to sale under the provisions of Sections 2127 212S and 2129, G.
