The Wonder City Still Offers Opportunity For the Small Investor. SHERWOOD ADDITION I V- Sherwood addition will make hundreds of dollars for buyers right away, and we venture to predict that by holding on for some time, Thousands will be made in this most promising sub-division of the north part of the City. The developement in this section of Saskatoon will demand the car line to be extended through this Sud-division on Second Ave. next year. Take your map of Saskatoon and see if' you can-buy lots more favorably situated to the City, at prices and terms to compare with this offer. The answer is: You can not. Second Ave., leading north through Sherwood, has the Banks, Hotels, Buisiness houses, etc. First has practically the Wholesale houses. Second Ave. to Saskatoon has Ave. leading North all the same relative position as. Superior Street to Duluth, and Nicollet or Hennipin Aves. to Minneapolis. The first houses were erected in Saskatoon about nine years ago. Saskatoon was incorporated six years ago with a ve:*37 small population. In 1910 the population was ten thousand, 1911, eighteen thousand, and 1912, thirty thousand. Now the City boasts of fifteen banks and twelve large hotels. The new Street car system is beings installed by Stone & Webster, Boston, Mass., together with other City improvements such as asphalt paving, water and sewer system, new power plant, new* filtering plant, cement walks including White-w'aj7, which means an expenditure of thousands bj^ the Cit3r. In addition the Business men of the City last June raised an industrial f.und of One Million Dollars for the purpose of inducing manufacturers to locate there. The building permits for the first nine months this year amount to $7,059,350, giving Saskatoon seventh place in the Dominion of Canada. The engineers report that the available water-power on the Saskatchewan river at Saskatoon will develope 14,000 horsepower. Saskatoon also has the great Saskatchewan University and experimental farm of thirteen hundred acres. The Canadian Northern Railway Co. is expending nearly One Million Dollars in tbeir new yards, shops, and round houses in walking distance of Sherwood addition. Saskatoon is located 425 miles northwest of Winnipeg on the Grand Trunk Pacific, Canadian Pacific, and Canadian Northern Railways. With the vast amount of rich farming lands extending in every direction together with tne fertile soil of the Saskatchewan river valley making it possible for the City of Saskatoon, Sask., to become the greatest manufacturing and supply center in Canada. It is predicted that the City will reach One Hundred Thousand population by 1916. This being the fact picture for yourself the profits of Sherwood addition. Do not delay as property is increasing in value every day. NOW IS THE TIME. LAND CO. International Falls, Minnesota a s. 4 .. .. .1 ia£. fti. 1 II ll"T' I 1 I' •i'lMUli ii'.'mIIIW mill. 1
