The engineers report that the available water-power on the Saskatchewan river at Saskatoon will develope 14,000 horsepower. Saskatoon also has the great Saskatchewan University and experimental farm of thirteen hundred acres. The Canadian Northern Railway Co. is expending nearly One Million Dollars in their new yards, shops, and round houses in walking distance of Sherwood addition. Saskatoon is located 425 miles northwest of Winnipeg on the Grand Trunk Pacific, Canadian Pacific, and Canadian Northern Railways. With the vast amount of rich farming lands extending in every direction together with tne fertile soil of the Saskatchewan river valley making it possible for the City of Saskatoon, Sask., to become the greatest manufacturing alnd supply center in Canada.
