Where disaster strikes the Red Cross is THERE! 150 communities in 27 states suffered disaster during the year ending June 30 last. 850 persons were killed, 1,500 injured, 15,000 were made homeless and 30,000 families were aided. The Red Cross was on the job promptly and adequately in every instance. 125 chapters gave disaster relief service. In every community—whenever disaster strikes— —your Red Cross is always ready to give the help that is needed—food, clothing, shelter, funds, doctors, nurses and special workers with long experience in handling similar trouble.
